This small trail and boardwalk is a little gem, located across the causeway it can be accessed from both the Graham Smelt Causeway and Berryman Street and consists of a short trail that meanders it way through remnant coastal vegetation and includes a short boardwalk enabling visitor access into the tidal mangrove environment.
Common Birds ….. Crested Pigeon, Galah, New Holland Honeyeater, Red Wattlebird, Silver Gull,
Singing Honeyeater, Welcome Swallow, White-browed Babbler, Willie-wagtail.
Frequent Sitings ….. Black-faced Cormoran,t, Dusky Woodswallow, Fairy Martin, Pacific Gull, Pacific Gull, Rainbow Lorikeet, Rock Parrot, Sacred Kingfisher, Spotted Dove, White-faced Heron, White-fronted Chat.
Feeling Lucky ….. Brush Bronzewing, Brown Falcon, Chestnut Teal, Gray Currawong, Great Egret, Hoary-headed Grebe, Horsfield’s Bronze Cuckoo, Nankeen Night Heron, Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, Spotted Scrubwren.
