Ski beach- A short drive from the Tumby Bay township ski beach is ideal for whiting all year round casting out along the weed line using cockles or small pieces of squid. Yellowfin whiting can be caught during the summer months all along the beach towards the southern point on small prawns, worms or nippers. Incoming tide being best. Between ski beach and TB lookout, the rocks fish well for squid, whiting, flathead and snapper all year round. Unweighted pilchard being key.
