This stunning location has a bit of everything with tidal flats, mangroves and remnant coastal vegetation all offering diverse habitat for a collection of local birds. The carpark on the southern side can be accessed via Trinity Haven Scenic Drive and the sandbar on the northern side via back beach, whilst it is possible to drive a section of back beach, it IS NOT ADVISABLE to drive to the sandbar as the southern end of the beach is often extremely soft and covered in build-up seaweed.
