Kit Bennett

Tumby Bay, South Australia 5605

This mural was on the opposite side of the same building where the shark mural is.
This was painted by Kit Bennett from Melbourne. Kit’s art is whimsical, fun, nothing serious; it was an enjoyable piece for the sake of doing something different.
The mural depicted dolphins wearing jeans and chatting on the old brick mobile phones. It was painted over, but that’s street art. The artists all know that none of it is permanent. This is the nature of street art. The works belong to the wall owner and they can do whatever they want with the piece. With the sale of the adjacent block and the need to put up a boundary fence, the piece was no longer properly visible and so was painted over.
